The Kid Laroi is absolutely blowing up right now, with two tracks currently in the top 10 on the ARIA chart.
The Aussie artist’s hit ‘Without You’ is definitely a song that you can’t get out of your head, and we have Sia to thank for that.
Hanging out on Smallzy’s Surgery, The Kid Laroi revealed that the ‘Chandelier’ songstress inspired his latest single.
“I was listening to a lot of Sia,” he told Smallzy about writing the track. “Funny enough, she’s also from Australia. I was going through some shit obviously and I just told [my friend] Omar, play some shit like Sia.”
The 17-year-old went on to discuss the song’s production and how they finished it all in one night.
While chatting to Smallzy, The Kid Laroi also played a fun game answering quickfire questions.
The So Done hitmaker revealed his McDonald’s order, what he’s currently bingeing and whether or not he’s ever flown on a private jet.
“I’ve done the jet before,” he said on Smallzy’s Surgery. “It was with my homie Juice [Wrld]. He did the jet everywhere, like he never flew commercial. I did that so many times with him.”
