We may not have a premiere date for SAS Australia but we do have some interesting insider knowledge from Chief Instructor Ant Middleton.
Ant, a former UK Special Forces soldier, Royal Marines Commando, and Royal Engineer in the British Army, joined Fitzy & Wippa With Kate Ritchie to celebrate the premiere of Million Dollar Island and of course, we threw in a cheeky question (or two) about SAS Australia.
Speaking with the team, Ant revealed that this new season isn’t filmed in Australia, instead it takes place in the Middle East. He also confirmed that it’s “brutal.”
“There’s some very interesting characters on this one… There’s some real psychological sort of undoings and rebuildings should we say.”
Ant also revealed that a couple of recruits wanted to call it quits quite early on and in true Chief Instructor fashion, he had the perfect response:
“I’m like ‘listen I’m not finished with you’, I’m not done with you yet.”
