Rumours have been floating around the ‘net for a while now that beloved police pup series PAW Patrol would be cancelled.
But, as with many things circulating on the internet, it’s not true.
The rumours of PAW Patrol getting axed aren’t new, but resurfaced today after US White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany declared that children’s activities are being policed as a result of “cancel culture.”

“We saw a few weeks ago that PAW Patrol, a cartoon show about cops, was canceled,” McEnany said.
Later, she added, “The show Cops was canceled, Live PD was canceled. Lego halted the sales of their Lego City Police Station. It’s really unfortunate.”
While Cops and Live PD were indeed axed, PAW Patrol was not cancelled. Not at all. In addition, Lego also has not stopped selling police toy sets, they’ve just paused the marketing of them according to CNN.
The ruckus even prompted the show’s official Twitter account to tweet some clarification:
