MAFS couple Holly and Andrew have had one of the worst starts to the series yet. To summarise: he called her a dud root, she yelled at him, he admitted he’s slept with over 350 women… Google searches for the word “pegging” hit an all time high – To which we say, “more of you need to watch Broad City.”

Anyway, after walking out and dramatically saying “send me my stuff” Andrew curiously stuck around.

And there’s a good reason for his continued presence according to Daily Mail Australia. A Married at First Sight insider told the publication that producers paid up to keep the pair on the show.

“When Andrew walked away he was offered $3,000 to stay an extra week, as was Holly,” they report the source as saying.

“Contestants are usually paid $1,000 a week, so you know things are pretty intense when they offer them almost triple for a more days of filming.”

“There’s more to the scandal that would never make it to air, but long story short is that Holly reluctantly agreed on the condition he lived in another apartment.”

“Things were so bad between them. [Their fights] got pretty heated.”

The trailer for Sunday night’s first commitment ceremony hints that Andrew lets loose a twist so, all signs points to a random ‘stay’.
