It looks like something is about to drop with Lorde.
She’s taken a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book and has deleted everything from her Instagram except three posts.
What is left is a picture of the words ‘Trust Me’ dating back to December 2016, an image of a crowd wearing 3D-glasses dating back to January 2017, and a third image of her on stage dating back to April this year.
She has also deleted her Tweets back to late 2017.
We’re thinking it’s either new music or it’s a social media detox. Especially after what happened with Lorde and social media last month.
The Royals singer made a huge Instagram mistake, she shared a photo of her bath with the words:
“And iiii will always love you.”
Referring to Whitney Houston’s version of I Will Always Love You.
But, didn’t recognised how bad taste that is because Houston died in a bath six years ago.
People soon shared their outrage about Lorde’s post on social media and the post was removed straight away.
Lorde wrote an apology on Instagram:
“Extremely extremely poorly chosen quote. I’m so sorry for offending anyone – I hadn’t even put this together I was just excited to take a bath.
“I’m an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.”
Poor girl, obviously as a singer she admires Houston so would not have done this on purpose.
