A fake Friends movie trailer is going viral overnight showing the stars struggling with life 14 years after the show finished up. It seems our favourite friends have lost touch and are reconnecting after several years.
The clip is actually just bits and pieces from movies and TV shows the cast have appeared in since 2004, but it hasn’t stopped people from going crazy about it.
The trailer seems to centre on Monica and Chandler’s relationship, which is clearly strained, and Rachel has totally changed career paths, left fashion and works as a therapist. The biggest change would probably be in Phoebe, who’s somehow become a doctor. Joey’s finally made it big as an actor and Ross is in politics?!
While it was obvious to some, many fans weren’t aware the new trailer was a hoax.

It doesn’t seem like a reunion will ever occur after most of the stars have said they wouldn’t do it. Jennifer Aniston last year told Huffington Post the show wouldn’t work in a modern world:
“We were jokingly saying that if Friends was created today, you would have a coffee shop full of people that were just staring into iPhones. There would be no actual episodes or conversations.”
