Praise be to the reality TV gods because they have gifted us with a doozy this Thursday morning.
The Married At First Sight alumni confirmed to The Daily Mail that they were in the early stages of a romance this week.
Power – the villain of the most recent season – and Furphy, who closed out his season with ex-girlfriend Sharon Marsh both offered comments on their status.
“Nick and I can confirm we have started to see each other,” Power told the outlet.
“At the moment it’s very new for both of us. A lot of people are weighing in on this especially his best friend Telv [Williams], however we are not allowing people’s opinions to hurt this and we are just seeing how it goes.”
Furphy followed on, adding:
“People won’t be happy with this relationship but it has nothing to do with them,” he told the Mail.
“She has grown so much after the show. Don’t always believe what you watch on tv. I’m looking forward to it.”
Power famously kicked off a romance with fellow MAFS contestant Dan Webb, while they were still in their respective “marriages” on the series.
The pair left their season together and announced they had split back in April 2019.
