Donald Trump has become the first US President in history to have a mugshot taken.
And my, what a mug – someone’s been watching reruns of America’s Next Top Model and practising their ‘smize’.
The former US President presented himself at Fulton County Jail in Georgia where, before posting bail, he was required to take a not-so-happy snap. The mugshot details Donald Trump’s intimate number as P01135809.
Trump is facing numerous criminal charges in Georgia for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. In the indictment, Donald Trump is accused of engaging in a conspiracy to undermine the democratic process in the US.
“Trump and the other defendants charged in this indictment refused to accept that Trump lost, and they knowingly and willfully joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump,” the indictment reads.
