A variety of things are cooked in the Nova kitchen.
There’s one woman from sales who fries mushrooms on the sandwich press. Someone else used to poach fish in the microwave. They don’t work here anymore.
But in Nova Digital we like our snacks with a certain… je ne sais quoi.
Intrigue. Pizazz. A ‘90s flair.
Basically, we like our snacks to be better than everyone else’s.
Case in point: we tried to make Tubby Toast the other day.
Yeah, this toast:
It’s Dipsy, Tinky Winky, Po and Laa-Laa’s favourite food, and we would have given literally anything for a piece of that smiley-faced goodness as kids.
Tubby Toast – and its official baking apparatus the Tubby Toaster – were a huge feature in the ‘90s kids’ TV show.
Whole episodes were based around the Tubby Toaster exploding/making bouncy Tubby Toast/overrunning Teletubbyland with Tubby Toast, and it was freakin’ awesome.
Now, we don’t have a Tubby Toaster in the Nova kitchen, and no known recipe exists for Tubby Toast, but we gave it our best shot:
