Drop the Playstation controller for five minutes because it’s all about LEGO in Adelaide for the next few months.

RELICS: A New World Rises Exhibition, the brainchild of 2020 LEGO Masters winners Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, has opened at the South Australian Museum.

The exhibition takes us to the year 2530 when humans have abandoned the planet and mini figurines rise up from the debris to show us the impact we once had on our environment.

There’s plenty to check out with the inventors reverse-engineering a grandfather clock to build a time machine and a retro arcade with airlocks and elevators that connects gaming machines to form a futuristic spaceport.

It’s a pretty cool way to see the works of Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler who dominated their LEGO Masters season and took home the $100,000 prize money.

These boys know how to build some cool things!

You can check out RELICS: A New World Rises until Sunday 23 July 2023.
