Hold onto your detective hats because the first trailer for NCIS: Sydney has dropped and it’s a wild ride.

The trailer introduces us to 2IC and Australian Federal Police counterpart Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey, played by former Home and Away actor Todd Lasance and NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey, who will be portrayed by actress Olivia Swann from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

NCIS: Sydney will focus on rising tensions in the Indo-Pacific, with the brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) teaming up for a multi-national taskforce working to keep naval crimes in check in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.

Yup. That’s a case of Budweiser.

In Australia.

The land of VB, Toohey’s, Carlton and Hahn.

NCIS: Sydney

Anyway, the hotly anticipated series will stream exclusively on Paramount+ from Friday, November 10, 2023, in Australia with new episodes set to drop weekly on Fridays.

Swann and Lasance are joined in NCIS: Sydney by Sean Sagar (The Covenant) as NCIS Special Agent, DeShawn Jackson and Aussie actress Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer, Constable Evie Cooper.

Neighbours actress Mavournee Hazel will be joining the ensemble cast as AFP Forensic Scientist, Bluebird ‘Blue’ Gleeson, with SeaChange actor William McInnes rounding out the main cast as AFP Forensic Pathologist, Dr Roy Penrose.

NCIS: Sydney will mark the first time the hit NCIS series has been based outside of the U.S.
