If there’s one thing we’ve learned today it’s that Michael Turnbull really wants his name back in circulation.
The former Bachelor in Paradise/Bachelorette star has not only chimed in on why Tara and Sam called it quits, but also, Ali Oetjen’s upcoming stunt as bachelorette.
The real estate agent has been forced to edit the caption of an Instagram post in which he was accused of ‘bullying’ Ali.
“The look you give when you realise you’re happy you’re not going [on] The Bachelorette this year #nothanks #sorrynotsorry #teamgrant,” the now deleted caption read.
Fans were quick to call the reality TV star out for his behaviour with former co-star Keira Maguire writing, “That’s a bit mean Michael”
Since then, Michael has changed his comment to include an apology.
The post now reads:
“Hope she finds the right guy on the Bachelorette… I changed my caption as my first post caption was not well worded and I do realise it may have come across as disrespectful, for that I apologise and I truly wish Ali the best. I am against online bullying and hence the change. I hope everyone can forgive me if it came across in bad taste, it was not my intention. #goodluckali #imsorry”
He has since told News.com.au he was “strongly against” online bullying:
“My original wording for my post was taken the wrong way, and as soon as I realised it was being misunderstood to be a negative comment I changed it and apologised for the miscommunication,” he explained to the publication.
