Aldi, our beautiful, precious Aldi has decided to make the good stuff available to the masses, with a $25 bottle of France’s finest.
Monsigny Champagne Premier Cru is legit impressive and boasts “subtle brioche and pear citrus notes” and a “seductively elegant palate” – to which we say, “you had us at $25 but cool”.
And, in case you didn’t pick up our previous plaudits, this tipple was actually made in Champagne, France.
So grab yourself a bottle or six – Christmas is coming up afterall – and get ready to embrace your fancier side.
The release comes after Aldi announced a 24 Days of Celebration Wine Advent Calendar with 24 fancy-pants French wines for just $79.99 and a Hoppy Christmas Beer Advent Calendar ($59.99) with 24 premium beers from around the world.
Looks like it’s going to be a very Merry Christmas.
