Tim Robards, 35 fell for Anna Heinrich, 31, during the very first season of The Bachelor in 2013 – and on Thursday, they tied the knot in a picturesque ceremony in Puglia, Italy.
They are the first couple from an Australian Bachelor series to get married.
The photogenic pair shared photos from their special day on social media – and they do not disappoint.
Anna wore a dress by Australian designer Steven Khalil. Khalil told news.com.au that the dress retails for $15,000:
“She said she’s been a fan of the brand for a long time and she would love to work with us on her wedding gown. She had a strong idea of how she wanted to look.
“Anna chose a piece that we had just finished, this beautiful piece for the showroom, and it hadn’t been released in our new collection.
“It’s a fully hand-beaded gown with floral embellishments and there’s a detachable skirt with a slimline dress underneath. She could take that off at the reception.”
Anna was led down the aisle by her father, Les Heinrich, and her sisters Andrea and Charlotte were part of her bridesmaid party.
The couple’s lively first dance was to a version of Frankie Valli’s ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’. The venue was decorated with baskets overflowing with fresh fruit. Another unique touch was the lack of name tags on the guest’s tables – their names were instead written on tambourines that hung above their seats.

Anna described her wedding trip as “the most incredible three days of my life.” She also revealed she is taking Tim’s surname – no word on whether that will extend to her public media profile.
Congrats to the gorgeous couple!
