NSW is on alert, issuing new NSW exposure sites after a man in his 60s tested positive for COVID-19.
The Bondi man has become the first case of community transmission in 40 days in NSW with his household contact also recording a positive result late on Wednesday. He is believed to be an airport driver.
Since this first case, another woman in her 70s tested positive via Vaucluse Belle Cafe and a man in his 50s via Myer at Bondi Junction Westfield.
The below is updated as of 11:30am Friday 18 June. Gladys Berejiklian has advised some ‘casual’ contacts may be updated to ‘close’ so it is advised that NSW residents check this list regularly.
According to NSW Health, anyone who attended the following venues at the time listed must get tested and self-isolate for 14 days from the date they were at the venue, regardless of the result.
- Bondi Junction: Events Cinema, Sunday, June 13 – 1.30pm-4.00pm
- Bondi Junction to North Sydney: 200 Bus, From Bondi Junction interchange to Blue St, North Sydney (near North Sydney Station) Tuesday 15 June. Departed approx. 4.25pm, arrived approx. 5pm
- Castle Hill: Spotlight, Tuesday 15 June from 11 am to 11:20am
- Castle Hill: Contents International Design and Luxury Store, Tuesday 15 June from 11:20 am to 11:45am
- Leichhardt: Harris Farm Markets, Tuesday 15 June from 9:50am to 10:05pm
- Northmead: Northmead Bowling Club, Sunday 13 June from 3:30pm to 10pm
- Zetland: Lorna Jane (in East Village shopping centre), Monday 14 June from 11am to 1pm
And anyone who attended the below NSW exposure sites at the listed times must call NSW Health on 1800 943 553, get tested and self-isolate until you receive further advice.
