Just when we thought the dust had finally settled on Married At First Sight Australia, a cheating bombshell and two new weddings were thrown at us last night.
To recap: Claire finally confessed to cheating on on-screen husband Jesse, during *that* night out with Adam after weeks of denial.
And, as to be expected,: Jesse did not take the news well.
Not that we blame him. He was accused of being a paranoid, jealous, husband after all.
So, Fitzy & Wippa caught up with MAFS’ Claire to get a better understanding of what really went down between the pair on that regretful night out.
Speaking with the boys, a remorseful Claire revealed that her kiss with Adam only lasted “two seconds, three max.”
And after a slight nudge from Fitzy, she admits that it was Adam who kissed her first, saying: “Do I just blame Adam?”.
Claire also clarified that she was not on the phone at “any point ever” to Adam – so those overheard giggles must have truly been innocent?
“I think as much as I should have been honest at that time, I think I let my fear of Jesse’s reaction kind of overtake knowing what I should have said, which is the truth.”
