Former MAFS bride Amanda Micallef has begun a social media campaign to become Australia’s ‘first lesbian Bachelorette’.
It seems Amanda has shared her plans with her fans and friends behind the scenes because they’ve all begun sharing videos and photos of support on Instagram, which Amanda has re-shared on her own account.
So, why should Amanda be Australia’s first lesbian Bachelorette? Well, according to one of her friends, it’s because she’s “the hottest”. We love that kind of supportive friend for her but, let’s be real, The Bachelorette needs to be more than just hot… they also need to be able to hold roses properly and plan helicopter dates. Can Amanda do those things?
Amanda’s friends have set up a petition to get her on Bachie and the former MAFS star has said she’d like to see it get 100 signatures to “get Channel 10’s attention”. Somehow we think she’s going to need more than 100 people backing her, but we love her hustle.
Who knows, maybe Channel 10 will get her MAFS ex Tash on the show for maximum drama? That, we would watch.
