British pop star Lily Allen’s book release ‘My Thoughts Exactly‘, has had a LOT of hype. Mostly due to the explosive revelation that she slept with female escorts while on tour in 2014.
She came clean before the tabloids released the story, which detailed an excerpt from her book in an Instagram post.

In her Instagram post she wrote:
“Sooo, in my book ‘My Thoughts Exactly’ (out on 20th Sept) I detail some stuff from my dark days, around the Sheezus era.
“I slept with female escorts when I was on tour, cause I was lost and lonely and looking for something. I’m not proud, but I’m not ashamed. I don’t do it anymore.
“The Mail are gonna run with the story tomorrow cause someone leaked it, and they’re bound to make sound worse than it was. Just wanted to give you Er, the ‘heads up’ !”
She since revealed to Nova Brisbane’s Ash, Kip & Luttsy with Susie O’Neill, that she has a pretty accurate idea of who leaked it.
“I think, to be honest, I have a feeling it was probably my publishers to leaked it,” Lily said.
“I don’t think that particular episode was the most salacious or most interesting part of the book.”
When a fan asked Lily if there was “something wrong with being a female escort”, she replied: “I’m not proud because I was married at the time.”
