Today Show host Karl Stefanovic vowed to lose 10 kilograms in 10 weeks back in May, following an interview with Dr Nick Fuller, a leading obesity researcher and expert.

This week, Karl Stefanovic revealed the results of his 10 week weight loss challenge, saying he’d shed an impressive eight kilograms.

Karl admitted he’s been finding it hard to find time to exercise (yeah, a newborn baby will do that to you) but that he’s feeling “great.”

“In the last couple of weeks it’s been difficult with the baby and all that sort of stuff”’ he said.

“It is life getting in the way of it a little bit, but it’s been a fantastic program,” he added, thanking Dr Fuller, who has supported him throughout his journey.

Dr Fuller said: “It’s been a fun journey with you, but it’s just the start… We will get you to that 90 kilos and keep you there.”

Karl revealed his program included a lighter evening meal and consistent exercise. According to Stefanovic, eating less in the evening helped him fall asleep with ease and wake feeling much more energised.

“What really worked for me was being good from Sunday to Friday and then having a bit of a cheat meal on Friday – as long as that doesn’t then bleed into Saturday and Sunday,” Karl Stefanovic said of his weight loss journey.

Nothing like a bit of choccie –  flexible dieting is important, ya’ll – to hit the spot and help keep you on track.

Anyone considering following a diet plan should first consult their GP. You can never be too safe.
