‘Cause Jennifer Aniston has just bloody confirmed a Friends Reunion special episode and… it’s all we ever wanted.
So casually too, like, she knew exactly what she was doing.
The actor, who played Rachel in the series, shared the news via Instagram simply writing, “It’s happening” before tagging her co-stars and HBO Max. Again, super casually.
According to Variety, the cast is reuniting for an exclusive, unscripted special on HBO Max as part of the company’s launch into the streaming world.
So, yup. It’s real. So real.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will return to the original “Friends” soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot. Just like they did for ten years, 1994 to 2004.
Sources have reportedly told Variety the six stars will receive at least $2.5 million apiece for participating in the special.
It’s obviously a big ‘who knows?’ as to how we’ll get it here in Australia but we’re sure it’s a matter of time.
… It better be.
