In celebration of Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin, The Grounds of Alexandria ha been transformed into a whole new world featuring golden archways, lanterns and even Genie’s golden lamp.
The magical makeover has been inspired by Agrabah, a city of mystique and enchantment.
There are four main worlds (installations) that you can explore:
The Palace
Make your grand entrance through the majestic archways. Surrounded by intricate gold detail, layered embellishments, turquoise accents and lace lanterns you’ll truly feel like royalty.
The Cave of Wonders
Discover the treasure within The Cave Of Wonders, featuring gold riches and luxury dressings.
If you’re worthy, you might even be able to see the Genie’s golden lamp awaken. Enter the cave at 10am, 12pm and 2pm daily to have your three wishes granted*.
The Palace Courtyard
Surround yourself in luxury and relax under the swaying palm trees on textured ottomans and cushions in the opulent Courtyard.
Pretty sure this is how I need to style my living room.
The Market Place
Get lost in the hustle and bustle of the streets of Agrabah, where you’ll find clusters of terracotta pottery and piles of colourful scarves.
The vibrant marketplace is filled with an abundance of souk food market installations of sweet treats – a feast for the senses.
You can also enjoy a literal feast because The Grounds has also created some Aladdin-themed menu items.
You can head to The Cafe for a slice of ‘I Wish For More… Cake’ (which coincidentally is exactly what I would wish for).
The cake is a pistachio sponge layered with white chocolate and orange blossom mousse and raspberry confit. Basically, everything that dreams are made of.
The Potting Shed will be serving up ‘Friend Like Me, Iced Tea’ in a legit magic lamp.
A combination of hibiscus, apple, pomegranate and rose-hip- yum!
Finally, go on a ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ in The Garden with a Guava and jasmine butterfly pea slushy.
Simply pour in the potion and watch the magical colour change unfold right before your eyes.

My first wish would be wishing for an unlimited supply of all of these menu items. Then for a puppy.
Actually, maybe I would wish for the puppy first…
