The Sun is reporting that Stephanie Snowdon has been sacked from Geordie Shore after lying to MTV producers and saying she wanted to restart a past relationship with Aaron Chalmers.

The 24-year-old had only appeared on one season of the reality show before getting fired. During her time on the show, she didn’t once try to act on her “unfinished business” with Chalmers.

What amazing performance. Aaron did everyone proud and it was good to see everyone.

When she first arrived in the house, she told her fellow cast mates she wanted to reignite the flame between herself and the 30-year-old MMA fighter. When Chalmers was asked about their past relationship, he said the pair had only kissed once and there would be no reason for anything to happen between them again.

A source from the show told the publication:

“Stephanie has been fired after the first series. She lied to producers and said she had unfinished business with Aaron and then came in and did nothing about it.

“She’s been sacked and won’t be going to Australia to film with the rest of them.”

Aaron quit the show at the end of 2017 after four years on the show, saying he’s ready to focus on his MMA career. He is, however, allegedly set to join “a new MTV spin-off series” with Gaz Beadle, Scotty T and Vicky Pattison.

The fighter told Daily Mail why he was ready to leave Geordie Shore:

“Geordie Shore is my job, that’s what has made us, but obviously I’m 30 now and I have a girlfriend [Talia Oatway], so maybe it’s my time to step out of Geordie Shore and let somebody younger come in.

“I’ve done what I need to do on there. You have to understand the show doesn’t grow old, but we do. Six years ago it was fun, but we’re getting older. The audience is getting younger and we’re getting older.”

He added:

“I’m very grateful for everything that has happened. Geordie Shore has given us the opportunity to do what I’m doing now.

“When I first started Geordie Shore, I never thought I would be on the billboard to fight at Wembley. It’s all a bit surreal still.”
