So we all witnessed Davina finally putting Ryan out of his misery and opting to leave the show.

In the week leading up to the ceremony, Brisbane-based model, 26, attempted to smooth things over with her husband Ryan Gallagher.

Despite showing the whole of Australia she wanted to ditch Ryan’s butt for Dean Wells. But that fell through when Dean decided to stay with Tracey last week.

In last night’s episode, we didn’t see Davina apologise for cheating on Ryan because she was going after something she thought “could be great”.

But after the show she spoke to Nine’s The Fix admitting she has been “horrible”:

“I’m horrible at relationships.

“I’ve been horrible at this whole thing.”

Love, revenge and the curveball of the year… We're set for the biggest commitment ceremony yet, Sunday 7.00pm! #MAFS

She admitted she had been single for four years prior to going on MAFS.

“Before that, I had a toxic relationship, and that was the first time that’s happened to me.

“It woke me up and made me realise that I don’t have to put up with s**t, and I do have the right to be picky, and I do have to realise my self-worth.”

She explained that the “horrible” situation had ended after one year, when she was 19.

“He was verbally and emotionally abusive… I was in a dark place too, trying to figure out why I loved this person so much, but they were horrible to me. But they were telling me they loved me so much.”

Even though the relationship was toxic, Davina revealed she “learnt a lot” afterwards:

“It was the best thing that ever happened to me because it turned me into a very strong person.

“So that’s why I seem like a very headstrong kind of person because it has taken me four years to realise I have the choice to be picky and I can be picky because I am worth a lot more.”
