Narcissism [noun]: excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one’s physical appearance.

Signs include needing constant praise or admiration, exploiting others without guilt or shame, and… thick ass eyebrows. Yep, according to a new study out of Toronto University, there is a link between narcissism and eyebrows. Totally normal.

Psychologists Miranda Giacomin and Nicholas Rule conducted an original three-part study, first published in May 2018. The study found that “accurate judgements of grandiose narcissism particularly depend on a person’s eyebrows.”

How did they come to this conclusion, you ask? They focused on eyebrow distinctiveness. AKA the thicker the eyebrow, the more narcissistic a person supposedly is.

According to Miranda and Nicholas’ eyebrow study, ‘grandiose narcissism; is characterised “by high self–esteem, interpersonal dominance and a tendency to overestimate one’s capabilities”.

So much for thick brows being superior… we might have to rethink our OG 2011 plucked to nothing look.
