It’s that time of the year again, with the Southern Hemisphere’s largest open-access arts festival celebrating a massive milestone. Adelaide Fringe is back for 2020 celebrating 60 years of Fringe, taking over Adelaide, surrounding suburbs and regional areas. For 31 magical nights Adelaide will be home to the most spectacular performers, programmers and creatives.

Along with the thousands of artists, venues from all over South Australia will house local, national and international events. Whether you are in the heart of the CBD, around your local suburban pub or even a laundromat, there is always some Fringe magic just around the corner.

This year Adelaide Fringe will be the biggest yet, marking 60 years of this much loved festival. To celebrate this amazing milestone, free and family friendly fun will be on display. Like every year, opening night will be welcomed with the powerful and enthralling ceremony of Tindo Utpurndee, Sunset Ceremony. We also invite you to journey with us along an immersive dreaming track to experience a story of creation and country at Tandanya with Yabarra – Dreaming In Light. Take a historic skip down memory lane with Fringe Walk, as North Terrace will showcase 16 large free standing light boxes of your favourite Fringe posters. Or maybe you would like to dabble in the art of song. This year, Adelaide Fringe will host the karaoke to end all Karaoke’s at Giant Sing Along.

This year, Adelaide Fringe will happen from 14 February – 15 March. Expect the unexpected, enjoy the amazing talent and experience something left-of-centred at Adelaide Fringe.
